Defeating New Zealand by 372 runs, India won their 14th consecutive Test series at home

Mumbai, December 6 (SO News/Agency) Thanks to off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and Jayant Yadav taking four wickets each, India thrashed New Zealand by 372 runs in the morning session of the second Test match. Defeated and won the two-match series 1-0. This is India’s 14th consecutive home series win. This is also India’s biggest win in terms of runs. Half of the visiting team had returned to the pavilion yesterday while half of the team got out in the first session today.

This match will be remembered for Ijaz Patel who took 10 wickets in the first innings and wrote his name in the history books. On the other hand, Manik Agarwal scored a century in the first innings and a half-century in the second innings. Jayant Yadav took four wickets today. Ashwin took the last wicket of the innings and with it he got his 300th Test wicket in Test cricket. Manik Agarwal was awarded the Player of the Match and Ashwin the Player of the Series award.
