According to the report, monsoon rains this year have been 10 times more than normal. Along with this, the life system in Pakistan has been completely disrupted due to floods. Along with the lack of food, a health crisis has also arisen. According to a report by CNN, 27 million people in Pakistan were deprived of food before the flood, while now this number has become much higher after the flood.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said in a statement on August 30 that the people of the country are facing a food crisis. Along with this, the price of vegetables like tomato and onion is touching Assam. He said that efforts are being made to provide food to the people and their aim is that no person sleeps hungry.

More than 1,200 people have died in Pakistan, including 400 children. Along with this, 3.3 crore people have been affected by the floods. More than 11 lakh houses have been destroyed by the flood and 18 thousand schools have been flooded across Pakistan. Along with this, more than 160 bridges have been broken across the country. 5 thousand kilometers of roads, 35 lakh acres of standing crops have been destroyed and more than 8 lakh cattle have also become dead. Not only this, people are now suffering from serious diseases and diseases like diarrhoea, cholera, dengue and malaria are spreading rapidly.
