Famous off-spinner Harbhajan Singh said goodbye to all levels of cricket

New Delhi, December 24 (SO News/Agency) India’s famous spin bowler Harbhajan Singh has announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. He informed the whole world about this through his social media account. It is noteworthy that Harbhajan Singh took 711 wickets in 23 years for India.

Announcing his retirement, Harbhajan Singh wrote on Twitter, “All good things come to an end and today as I say goodbye to the game that has given me everything in life, I want to say thank you to all those who made this long journey of 23 years beautiful and memorable.”

Harbhajan Singh last played for India in 2016. Talking about Harbhajan Singh’s international career, he has played a total of 103 Tests in which he has taken 417 wickets. He took 269 wickets in 236 ODIs, and 25 wickets in 28 T20Is.

Talking about Harbhajan’s first and last match, he played the first Test against Australia in 1998, and the last Test against Sri Lanka in 2015. He played the first ODI against New Zealand in 1998, and the last ODI against South Africa in 2015. Also, Harbhajan played his first T20 match against South Africa in 2006 and his last T20 match against UAE in 2016. Talking about the IPL career, Harbhajan Singh has played a total of 163 matches in which he has taken 150 wickets.
