Indian technology company SkyRoot has successfully tested the first private rocket ‘Vikram S’.

According to Indian media, the technology company SkyRoot has designed the ‘Vikram S’ while the rocket is named after the founder of the space program, Vikram Sarbai.

According to the report, ‘Vikram S’ was launched from Sriharikota at 11:30 am after which India joined the list of countries that have sent private rockets into space.

According to Pawan Goinga, chairman of India’s National Space Promotion and Authorization Center, the rocket rose to a height of about 90 km while its range was 121 km.

“This is the start of SkyRoot Aerospace, very happy to announce the success of the mission,” he said.

It should be noted that after launching a rocket into space, Skyroot Aerospace became the first Indian private company which was founded in Hyderabad.

Observers believe that after this successful experiment, it will be easier for the company named SkyRoot to carry out more experiments, while this experiment is being described as an important milestone for the role of the private sector in space exploration in India.
