Israeli aggression continues in the West Bank, 37 Palestinians injured
Ramallah, September 10 (SO News/Agency) Israeli aggression continues in the West Bank, as a result of which many Palestinians are injured. At least 37 Palestinians were reported injured during the latest incidents.
More than 35 Palestinians were injured during clashes with Israeli soldiers in the West Bank city of Nablus, Palestinian medical experts and eyewitnesses told the media. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that three of the injured were hit by live ammunition and nine by rubber bullets, while others suffered from inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli soldiers on Friday.
Palestinian witnesses reported that heavy clashes took place between anti-settlement protesters and Israeli soldiers in the villages of Beita and Beit Dajan, south and east of Nablus city, and Kafr Qadoum village, east of Qaqiliya city. He said that the protesters burnt tires and threw stones at the Israeli soldiers stationed around the villages.
Murad Ashtawi, coordinator of popular resistance in Kafr Qadoum village, told Xinhua that Israeli soldiers used rubber bullets, tear gas and sound bombs to attack Palestinian protesters who rejected the actions against their village. Israeli authorities have not yet commented on these incidents.
