Gaza, August 7 (SO News/Agency) The Ministry of Health in Gaza has informed that at least 24 Palestinians have been martyred in the ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip during the last two days. Among the martyrs are six children and a woman. On the other hand, the United Arab Emirates, France, China and other countries have requested to convene a closed-door meeting of the Security Council tomorrow to discuss the latest developments in Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Palestine Information Center said with reference to the Ministry of Health that 203 people were injured in the Israeli attack. Israel has claimed that a failed rocket fire from Gaza killed civilians, including children, in the Jabalia camp. Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath correspondents reported that the death toll in the Jabalia camp has reached 7, including children. Many people have also been injured.
The al-Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad Movement’s military wing, said on Saturday it had carried out massive rocket attacks on Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Ashkelon and Sderot. Saraya al-Quds also published clips of scenes of rocket fire in response to the killing of the organization’s commander in Gaza, Taysir al-Jabari, through its Telegram account, and stated that these rockets were fired by Islamic Jihad.
According to unidentified Israeli media, several houses and a factory were damaged as a result of large rockets fired from Gaza falling on Ashkelon and Sderot after Ashkelon. It is noteworthy that Israel carried out airstrikes on Gaza on Saturday, in response to which Islamic Jihad fired rockets at several cities of the Zionist state.
