According to the details, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) index had a mixed trend on the first day of the business week, with the 100 index losing 242 points at the end of the day due to bearishness.
The PSX 100 index closed down 242 points at 42,850.
In the business day today, the lowest level of the index was 42 thousand 761, while 185.5 million shares were traded in the stock market today, the value of which was 6 billion rupees.
Similarly, the market capitalization has decreased by 29 billion rupees to 6 thousand 868 billion rupees.
Dollar appreciation record
As the dollar continues to fluctuate amid the recent economic crisis, the interbank dollar has recorded gains on the first day of the business week.
According to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, the value of the dollar has increased by 5 paise in the interbank.
According to forex dealers, the dollar closed at 221.69 rupees from 221.64 interbank.
