The death toll in the Kabul mosque blast has reached 30
Kabul, August 18 (SO News/Agency) The death toll in an explosion in a mosque in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, has reached 30. More than 40 people have been injured in this explosion. The media quoted a source from the Defense Department as saying that the list of those killed in yesterday’s explosion also includes prominent religious scholar Amir Muhammad Kabali.
So far, no terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack. The Taliban claim they have complete control over Afghanistan, but militants from the Islamic State terrorist group (IS) continue to attack civilians and police across the country.
Ten people were killed and forty others injured in two deadly explosions in Kabul two weeks ago. According to media reports, the Islamic State has claimed responsibility for both attacks.
