The Islamabad High Court has extended the order to stop construction at the site of Quaid-e-Azam University on Bihara Kahu Bypass till December 2.
The Islamabad High Court directed the final arguments to the parties and said that they will complete the case at the next hearing, while the Environmental Protection Agency approved the Bihara Kahu project.
One million fine imposed by the Environmental Protection Agency was submitted by CDA.
On the request of professors of Quaid-e-Azam University, Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb heard, in which Additional Attorney General Manoor Iqbal Dogal requested a week’s respite from the court.
The court accepted the request of the Additional Attorney General.
Advocate Kashif Malik appeared on behalf of the petitioner, Professor of Quaid-e-Azam University.
The Additional Attorney General said that the concerns and concerns of the petitioners have been forwarded to the Cabinet. The report has not been received from the cabinet so far, it is expected to come by next week.
The court while talking to the counsel of the professors said that they have heard your concerns and will look into them.
The Islamabad High Court adjourned further hearing of the case till December 2.
