In India, the bride refused to leave after the groom sent her a cheap lehenga.
According to Indian media, a strange incident happened in the city of Haldwani in the state of Uttarakhand, where the bride refused to leave only because the groomsmen had sent a cheap lehenga.
According to the report, the cost of the lehenga was Rs 10,000 which was bought by the groom’s father while the bride did not like the lehenga due to the low price and poor quality.
The report said that the couple was supposed to get married on November 5 this month while their engagement took place in June this year.
According to Indian media, the matter escalated between the two families, after which the police were contacted, while the police satisfied both the families and sent them home.
Later the grooms again raised the issue that our marriage cards had been printed, again with the intervention of the police, reconciliation was achieved and it was decided to call off the wedding.
It should be noted that extravagance is not unusual in wedding ceremonies in the subcontinent, be it food or rituals, money is poured like water in everything.
Not only the rich but also the middle class people make an appearance in the wedding ceremonies.
